Liverpool open talks to sign Germany international after hijacking Chelsea move

Antonio Rudiger, currently the centre back defender of Roma will had his one-year contract expired loaned from Stuttgart upon the end of the season, while Roma can make a transfer for €9m for the German international this summer upon the exercise of a transfer optional agreed between both clubs, big clubs from the England Premier League had already eyed on the defender and ready to compete for a good buying.

Although the new Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is keen to replace John Terry with Rudiger upon the captain leaving Stanford Bridge, the London club obviously lost their charm as they will not be in any European games next season as a result of their terrible performance this season, according to CalcioMercatoWeb another giant club from the English Premier League claims opened talks with the German international’s representatives this week – Liverpool, with an initial offer at €19m.

With the view of a possible free transfer of Joel Matip from Schalke, Liverpool’s defense line is expected to be at high priority for the club at the transfer window this summer as Toure’s contract will ended this summer, followed by Sakho potentially lengthy ban for failing the drug test and possible transfer out of Skrtel.

Klopp taking fast actions in the transfer window is reasonable as Conte, Guardiola, and maybe Mourinho will be the bosses of the giants in England in the coming season.

Rudiger has represented Germany since U18 and make his spot for the national senior team in 2014, the German international will be expected to play at the best clubs to prolong his competiveness of being selected by the German national team.
Although Roma will continue to participate in the UEFA Champions League next season, no doubt that the big clubs in England will provide better chance to national team’s entry, and apparently Roma is going to make some fast money by an immediate sell after exercising the transfer option.
