Mesut Ozil Speaks Up On Rumours Linking Him To Bayern Munich

Arsenal’s German midfielder Mesut Ozil has debunked claims that he is seeking a move away from the Emirates. The rumour mill has been awash with the news that the former Real Madrid midfielder was unhappy at Arsenal and was looking for a move away and according to the report, this has encouraged German giants Bayern Munich as the Bavarians are putting together a bid of 30million Pounds to lure the playmaker to the Allianz Arena in the winter window.
Ozil has now taken to Twitter to pour cold water on the alleged imminent transfer. Below is his tweet;

With that statement, it is obvious where Ozil’s heart lies and it is at the Emirates. Ozil is currently injured and according to early prognosis, he would  be out for  months and that means his comeback is tentatively January, 2015.Hopefully, Arsenal would still be in the race for the Premier League and the Champions League and a fit, refreshed and well rested Ozil could be the tonic the Arsenal squad needs in the 2nd half of the season.

I wonder why Ozil would want to leave Arsenal for Bayern? At Arsenal, he is treated like a king, highest earner, one of the first names on the team sheet. That is a far cry from what he would have to face at Bayern should the dream transfer ever pull through. At Bayern, he would have to battle Gotze ad coach favourite Thiago Alcantra for a place in the central midfield position of the Die Rothens.
