Cavani to Arsenal

Roman Abramovich Sanctions €64.5m Deal For Rebel Striker With 37 Goals In 56 Games Last Season

Following the recent terror attack on Paris which has left at least 129 people dead in Paris, the capital city of France, Chelsea transfer market has been tipped to complete a move away from France after the Blues were made to understand that Cavani might be unwilling to return to France after the attack and are looking to snap a deal for the Uruguayan goal poacher.

French newspaper reported that Gonzalez revealed the state of Cavani’s mind even though the aforementioned Uruguayan was away from France when the incident happened as he said, “This is horrible for football and for the city. They spoke of the fact that David Luiz would not return to Paris and Edinson also said he would rather not have to go either.”

Chelsea’s attack has been nothing but horrible this season with their main striker Diego Costa not scoring for the Blues and Loic Remy not making impact while Falcao is not even playing and the trio have managed to score three goals in the English Premier league this season and they will be looking to lure Cavani to Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window if he refuses to return to Parc des Princes.

Upcoming Chelsea matches

The 28-year-old former Napoli striker has scored nine goals in 15 matches for Paris Saint-Germaine in all competitions and is valued at €64.5 million.

However, the Blues owner, Roman Abramovich, is in full support of the transfer and will sanction the move as he is desperate to bring a new and guaranteed striker to the Stamford Bridge who can score goals and ensure that the team gets better and become contenders again.

It remains to be seen what will be decided on the player and if he will choose to return or leave the club finally.
