Spotted in London – Chelsea target arrives London, could become a Chelsea player in days

Chelsea have being active in the transfer market as they seek to end their striking woes. Diego costa, Loic Remy and Radamel Falcao have been toothless in front of goal so far this season. And after accessing all options Chelsea have decided Brazilian striker Alexandra Pato looks the most viable option.

Chelsea have taken the first step towards landing the Brazil international. During the game against Porto, Alexander Pato was spotted in the Stamford Bridge fueling reports that the striker was set for transfer talks following the game.

Pato is currently on loan in Sao Paulo were he has scored 10 goals in 32 appearances this season. Acquisition of Pato would be seen as an ideal stat considering the poor scoring form of Chelsea strikers; it is there poor form that has been the reason Chelsea and Jose mourinho are having the worst time.

According to Metro, Pato is expected to sign for Chelsea in a deal close to 12 million pounds with the news to be announced in coming 3 weeks. Pato previously played for AC Milan, and was one of the most promising talents in football until injuries hampered his rise to stardom.

Pato has regained his form and fitness of late and has being linked with a host of clubs in Europe including Manchester United, it would be interesting to see if the Red Devils approach Pato in coming days as he is still in England to ahead of his proposed move to Chelsea.
