Trouble Brewing? Jose Mourinho Blasts Diego Costa As Striker & Coach Fallout
After starting the season in an uncharacteristic manner, Chelsea seems to have picked up the pieces of their defeats and have moved on as evidence by the win against Norwich City and Maccabi Tel Aviv. In Chelsea’s Premier League fixture of last weekend, the Blues defeated Norwich City by 1-0 and they maintained similar winning momentum when they thrashed Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Champions League last night despite Mourinho’s complaint of the pitch being terrible.
Mourinho made an attacking selection but after thumping their opponent by 4-0, you would expect Diego Costa to at the least be on the score sheet but that was completely not the case. However, present in the match was a reporter for the Guardian Dominic Fifield who revealed that Mourinho was involved in somewhat altercations. He twitted on his official twitter handle that:
There is no telling what the brawl between them was all about but the Spain international completed the match. Costa has been heavily involved with fights and arguments with opposing players and there are reports that Mourinho is tired of his antics and is considering showing him the exit door of Stamford Bridge.
