Welcome To Manchester – United Set To Sign 17 Goals 29 Assists Attacker

In desperation for a marquee signing, Manchester United have entered the race to sign Wolfsburg attacking midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. According to reports from Germany, the Red Devils have reportedly planning to table a £55 million bid for Kevin De Bruyne as opposed to Manchester City who already have a bid of £50 million already accepted for the Belgian midfielder.

Manchester United will be looking to pay Manchester City back in their own coin after allegedly hijacking the deal for Nicolas Otamendi from the Red Devils. The Citizen’s sluggish approach to the Kevin De Bruyne deal could give Manchester United an advantage to snap up the Belgian midfielder from right under City’s nose.

Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is said to be feeling like a wounded tiger after losing out on Pedro Rodriguez,  according to German publication’s chief sports reporter, Christian Ortlepp, who took to his Twitter account to confirm the news. He believes Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal’s attentions have been turned after losing out on Spain star Pedro to Chelsea.

Either team that lands the Bundesliga player of the year gives the Belgian an opportunity to haunt his former club Chelsea, who treated him like an outcast and later sold him to Wolfsburg after a impressive loan spell at the club. The recent rise and performances of Kevin De Bruyne will definitely see Chelsea officials regretting the sale of the Belgian. Nevertheless, Manchester United and Manchester City are set to take their rivalry to another level and battle fiercely for the signing of Kevin De Bruyne.
