Arsenal agree terms with powerful striker’s club and he is eager to join

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to add reinforcements to the club in the January transfer window as he is not ready to risk losing out on the English Premier League title race and on all other competitions he is in, especially with what the Champions League draw revealed yesterday which leaves Arsenal facing Barcelona in a ‘win or get out’ two-leg encounter.

Wenger has obviously seen that he needs to especially buck up the Arsenal attack as this is about the only place that needs help right now with the many injuries facing that department of the Arsenal squad. Recent reports are now claiming that Arsenal are now very close to signing Dynamo Moscow and Russia international striker Aleksandr Kokorin, according to reports from the Metro.

The Metro is claiming that Wenger is willing to sign the striker in case he is not able to get Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema in the January transfer window and the two clubs concerned have agreed a £4.5million deal for the star striker.

All that is left is for the player to agree personal terms with Arsenal and reports are saying this will soon be done. The player’s contract expires at the end of the season and Arsenal could get him for free but it looks like Wenger is not ready to wait that long for the striker to become a member of the Emirates squad.

It remains to be seen though if this is not just some fantasy.
