Chelsea FINALLY Set To Sign Antoine Griezmann

Chelsea is set to swoop on Antoine Griezmann. The blues who are premier league champions understand that they will need to bolster their squad ahead next season as other clubs are already rebuilding ahead next season.  With the injury suffered by Diego Costa towards the end of the season, Chelsea saw their goals dry up and the manager won’t want a repeat of such next season.  And this is why the blues are seeking to add the Frenchman to their squad.  With a goal haul of 25 and 6 assists, he is certainly a must buy.

And the blues have proposed a swap deal involving cash plus player. The deal would see the premier champions offer Mohammed Salah plus cash (£35 million) for Antoine Griezmann. Salah who is on loan at Fiorentina, joined Chelsea two years ago, but didn’t meet up to expectations, and was sent out on loan.

The blues are hoping that Atlethico Madrid will be tempted with such a deal but that would seem unlikely as Antoine Griezmann was a key player for them last season and has the potential to be move the club forward.  Should Chelsea success in their bid, they will have a player who cannot only play up front but also drop behind the forward line and still have an impact.  Expect more news on this particular deal as the transfer market draws closer.
