United Legend HINTS At ANOTHER Major Signing For Manchester United

Retired England and Manchester United central-defender, Rio Ferdinand, has recently expressed his desire to see three-time Ballon D’ Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo at the Old Trafford again- not as a visitor or spectator, but as a player.

Ferdinand took to his twitter page and posted a tweet which reads “What about tempting this guy to come back?”, referring to Ronaldo. Could this be a big hint? The former Manchester United defender should surely know a little about the club’s transfer dealings.

It would surely take a real temptation to lure him back; as the Portuguese appears to be at the peak of his career, having gone on to establish himself at the Santiago Bernabeu as one of the most prolific goalscorers in the World today, scoring over 310 times in about 300 appearances for Madrid side.

Ferdinand obviously still has fond memories of their playing time together, which spanned a period of 6 years. Despite his unique ability at the time, his career turning point was his switch to Real Madrid.

Given the astronomical release clause embedded in Ronaldo’s contract with Madrid, United would only dream of a transfer for him anytime soon. However, new signing Memphis Depay is expected to step into Ronaldo’s boots at United, given their similar build, athleticism and game play.
