Liverpool Beats Manchester United To The Signing Of High Rated Midfielder

In a shock twist to this year’s summer transfer window, Liverpool have been one of the most active teams in this transfer window. The Merseyside club have spent up to 110 million euros just to bring in the likes of Allan, Christian Benteke , Nathaniel Clyne , Robert Firminho , Joe Gomez  to the club. Liverpool are set to make their eight signing of the summer in the form of 14 year old Edvard Tagseth.

The 14 year old Norwegian is regarded as the second most exciting talent to watch out for in Norway with the first being Real Madrid’s Martin Odegaard. Edvard Tagseth caught the eye of many clubs in Europe as the likes of Everton, Manchester City and Manchester United all interested to sign the 14 year old but Liverpool ended up narrowly beating both Everton and Manchester United for the signature of the Norwegian.

It is understood that Liverpool representatives are expected to fly to Norway to finalise the transfer of Edvard Tagseth. However it is reported that 14 year old Edvar Tagseth will not be able to play for Liverpool until he turns 16, and will remain in Norway in the meantime with his current club FK Neset who play in the Norwegian fourth tier. The Norwegian has recently expressed his delight on joining Liverpool and was quoted as saying “It feels good to finally be done with it and decide on a club.”I felt Liverpool were the best club for me. It’s where I enjoyed myself best.”
