MAGICAL Woodward To Complete THREE Deals Worth £61m For United This Week

Here is a great one Manchester United fans. Metro writes that the Red Devils are on the verge of beating Chelsea to the signings of Pedro Rodriguez and John Stones for a combined fee of £61m from Barcelona and Everton respectively.

United have been chasing top quality signings to bolster their defence and attack, following the arrivals of Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Memphis Depay and Matteo Darmian. Having apparently missed out on Real Madrid’s captain and defence leader Sergio Ramos and Valencia’s Nicolas Otamendi, Louis van Gaal is looking to make a late swoop for Everton defender John Stones, thereby dealing Chelsea a huge blow in their chase of the youngster.

Pedro is also targeted by the Blues, and United are poised to land him, hence, the Old Trafford landlords could hand another title blow to Premier League champions Chelsea, if they (United) sign these pair.

Chelsea have seen three bids rejected for Stones – the last one being around £30m rebuffed flatly by Everton on Monday, while Pedro has been eyed by the west London club as a possible replacement for unsettled Juan Cuadrado.

The Red Devils have made Stones a priority signing, says the Daily Star, after seeing their move to sign Ramos collapse finally yesterday as Real Madrid announced their captain has signed a fresh five-year contract at the Bernabeu. Also, United executive vice-chairman has flown to Spain to finalise the deal for Pedro. Thus, if the Manchester side are faster, they could blow Chelsea out of the waters to land Pedro and Stones.

It will sure be a very brilliant window for United if they manage to pull off these deals.
