Loius Van Gaal Sack

Louis Van Gaal is Just One Loss Away From the Sack after Latest Scandal, Could Leave This Sunday

Man Utd manager Louis Van Gaal is in the middle of another controversy. The Dutchman, following the 3-3 draw with Newcastle, labelled one of the press journalist ‘fat’.

He angrily reacted when asked about the form of striker Wayne Rooney and took out his frustration on Neil Curtis of The Sun.

As he was leaving the press conference, he pointed to the journalist and said: “You too, fat man, there. We don’t speak about Wayne Rooney; you have criticised him. I don’t – you!”

Curtis has now replied to Van Gaal’s ‘fat’ jibe and have called his comments crass and pathetic. He also claimed that the Dutchman has turned good players into poor during his spell at Old Trafford.

“The comment was crass and pathetic but it’s a shame he’s not so astute when he’s looking at his own failings at Manchester United,” he told talkSPORT. “The way they play under him has probably been the worst Manchester United have been in 35 years.

“Win, lose or draw you come away from a United match at the moment in the same manner. They [Woodward and the Glazers] have given this manager everything he wants and bowed to his every whim.
“In many ways, Ed Woodward has been the perfect boss for a manager – he has spent £250m and rising. What has he done with that money? I don’t think he’s wasted it on poor players. He’s bought good players, he’s just made them poor.”

This latest controversy has attracted unwanted attentions towards Van Gaal, who is already struggling to get results with the Red Devils.

Latest reports have suggested that he is only a loss away from the sack as he has been told by the board that he has to defeat Liverpool at Anfield in Sunday to keep hold of his job.

Anything less than three points will result in his departure.
