Pep Guardiola to Arsenal? Manager Admires Arsenal and Prefers London Club Over Manchester United & City

After a disappointing defeat of 1-0 with the hands of Chelsea at the Emirates stadium, Arsenal have lost their top spot in the Premier League and are now third in the league with Leicester first and City second. Arsene Wenger has come under criticism for his decisions during the match against the Blues and he has been questioned over his move to take Giroud off the pitch following Mertesacker’s sending off.

This has also led to rumours of Pep Guardiola’s arrival in the Premier League and the possibility of him joining Arsenal. While the defeat has created pressure for Wenger and the team to perform better in the upcoming fixtures of the Premier League, the club is still in support of Wenger and rightly so.

However, this hasn’t stopped speculators from predicting Arsenal under Guardiola. While the board, players and the fans are all in support for Wenger, there is a chance of Guardiola succeeding Wenger when the Frenchman chooses to part ways with the club.

Pep has always admired Arsenal, but he would have to wait until Wenger’s departure to coach the Gunners. Reports suggests that Wenger is preparing to sign a new deal with the club that will extend his contract to 2019.

Bayern’s coach, Guardiola, who will leave the Germans this summer has been linked with big clubs of the Premier League, namely, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. While the first two are more likely to land the manager, City might make way for him, if Pellegrini fails to make the owners happy.
