Antonio Conte

Conte wants to replace Hazard with this PSG star, already in talks with player’s agent

Paris Saint German may have knocked Chelsea out of the Champions League in the same fixture for 2 years running, but that doesn’t seem to have stopped Chelsea from targeting one of their star Argentinians for a potential mega-money summer move.

Officials at Chelsea have apparently been speaking to the forward and his agents over a summer move to West London. Chelsea are looking to rebuild their squad after a disastrous campaign that has seen them lose a manager and all chances of a trophy. European football next season is also almost certainly out of the question.

This hasn’t stopped Antonio Conte from joining as the new boss and without European distractions he will be looking to challenge for 3 trophies on the domestic front. In order to do so, he will want to rebuild the squad and Roman Abramovich is hardly short of cash to allow him to do it.

Media outlet, TMW, say that the Argentinian could be a possible replacement for Eden Hazard who may well be on his way to Real Madrid under Zinedine Zidane.

Pastore has been at PSG for 5 years now and cannot cement a regular staring place ahead of the stars on show. He has shown glimpses of his brilliance in certain matches but Parisian fans are not impressed with what they see as inconsistency. It might be too early to tell how much Chelsea would need to part with, given the players original price of £33 million and his age of 26 years.
