As part of their rebuilding efforts, Liverpool have emerged as frontrunners for the signature of Al Jazira (Abu Dhabi based club) on loan winger to West Ham United Manuel Lazini, per the Metro. In the summer, Lazini signed for Premier League side West Ham United on a season-long loan deal with an option of the Hammers making the deal permanent. Since, moving to Upton Park, the 22 year-old attacking midfielder has scored three goals in 10 matches and creating several chances.
His impressive cameos for West ham United saw Klopp attracted to him and they will attempt to sign him in January. Klopp joined Liverpool in October and has appeared unsatisfied with the current squad of the Kop and is looking to bolster the squad.
The German tactician inherited a squad heavily inflicted with injury. A host of Liverpool players are out with injury and that might impede their Premier League and Lucas and Milner are really getting old and will need long term replacement.
The report claims Lazini will be Liverpool’s first signing in January. After their astonishing 4-1 win against current leaders, Manchester City, they will hope to beat Bordeaux in a very important UEFA Europa League match.
