ALMOST DONE – Manchester United To ANNOUNCE Transfer Of £280,000-A-Week

Man United and PSG are set to announce that they have both reached an agreement over the transfer of Angel Di Maria, who is set to move to the French Ligue 1 this summer after only one season in England. The deal, according to French media outfit, L’Equipe, is set to be announced by next Friday.

Di Maria has long been linked with a move to the French giants since last summer before being signed by United, smashing the British transfer record for a player. As reported by Goal, the Laurent Blanc had last week confirmed the French club’s interest in securing the services of the player before the end of the current window.

Talks between both clubs were said to have opened earlier in the week, with RMC Sport reporting that the Red Devils were very positive that a deal to sell the player to the Ligue 1 champions for a fee in the region of €65 million will soon be completed.

In a related development, talkSPORT  reported that Di Maria had agreed personal terms with PSG, with a deal said to be imminent. Though, Goal France also confirmed similar story, it however, added that a confirmation of the deal would come within hours.

Di Maria, who arrived in England last summer, has not been able to find his rhythms. Besides suffering a couple of injuries in his first season with the Red Devils, the Argentine endured some emotional stress as his home was burgled by burglars, which also affected his performance last season.
