DONE DEAL – Arsenal COMPLETE Signing Transfer, Deal Don and Dusted

Dutch league side, Ajax Amsterdam have completed the signing of Arsenal striker, Yaya Sanogo, on a season-long loan term. After weeks of negotiations, the deal was finally struck recently, and the player is set to be unveiled by the Dutch club.

Sanogo, who joined Arsenal from ligue 1 side AJ Auxerre in 2013- to be a back-up for Olivier Giroud as well as provide cover for injury-ravaged Theo Walcott- failed to impress Arsene Wenger when called upon: and after being shipped out to English side Crystal Palace for a brief loan-spell, the player will yet embark on a longer
flight trip to Amsterdam, as he looks to gain match experience and build match fitness.

Following his transfer 2 years ago, the 22 year-old striker was tipped to take the English Premier league by storm- due to his immense talent- but failed to live up to such expectation due to a consistent loss of form. It is believed that Ajax hold the key to unlocking his potential, hence the loan move.

It is now expected that Arsenal move into the market to secure another striker ahead of the 2015/2016 EPL season, with the likes of Barcelona’s Pedro and a host of others currently being linked with possible transfers to the Emirates stadium.
