Arsenal Line up £26m Transfer for Alvaro Morata Thanks to Real Madrid Transfer Ban Situation

Arsenal are considering a £26 million move for Juventus striker Alvaro Morata. The Telegraph reports that the Gunners want to make the most of Real Madrid’s current transfer ban situation by placing a huge bid to lure the striker to Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a long-term fan of the striker and attempted to bring him to Emirates Stadium in the summer of 2014. However, the player opted to join Serie A club Juventus instead. Real Madrid placed a buy-back clause in the £16m sale to the Turin club.

However, with the current transfer ban, Madrid club are unable to buy back their striker and Gunners are planning to take advantage of the situation by forcing Juventus into selling the striker to them.

The 22-year-old has dropped down the pecking order behind Paulo Dybala at the Turin club and will be willing for a move.
He has managed to start only eight league games this season and has scored only one goal.
