Arsenal have been handed a major boost in their pursuit of Porto Striker Jackson Martinez and are now back in contention for the Colombian International.
AC Milan were thought to have won the race for his signature but Martinez says that other clubs are still in with a chance and will decide his future in the coming days.
“I am as close to Milan as I am to other clubs,” he said.
“In the next few days I will decide my future.”
Sizzling isn’t it?
Gunners faithful can now heave a sigh of relief with this piece as it now seems their hopes of seeing a proven and prolific striker at the Emirates is still alive and budding.
The 28-year-old has once again been in sensational form for his club this season, scoring 38 times in appearances in the Portuguese league and UEFA Champions League, per WhoScored.com.
His prolific nature will surely see him end up in either the Premier League or th Serie A and it seems Arsene Wenger will now make Jackson his next big-money signing if he decides his destination in favour of Arsenal.
