Charly Musonda Leaving Chelsea for Arsenal

Arsenal To Launch Bid For Powerful DM, Will Be Perfect Competition For Coquelin, Deal Will Annoy Jose Mourinho & Chelsea Fans

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was not able to do anything to help the squad yesterday as they were being thrashed silly by Bayern Munich but the manager might be already looking forward as he is looking at signing or better put, stealing away Chelsea wonder-kid Charly Musonda as a good midfielder to blend into the squad and be a part of the squad for years to come even after the manager might have left.

AS Monaco are however also looking into the availability of the player and are hoping to secure the services of the Chelsea starlet, according to reports from the Mirror.

Musonda is considered as one of the Blues’ brightest young talents at Stamford Bridge, but getting from the youth team to the starting eleven is a very difficult task as the Blues team is full of very fantastic midfielders at the moment who cannot be easily dislodged.

In order to get regular playing time, the 19-year-old is therefore considering several other options, and his availability has alerted the likes of the Gunners and Ligue-1 giants Monaco. The French club were hoping to sign Musonda as part of the Radamel Falcao deal back in the summer transfer window, but the proposal was promptly rejected by the Blues as they saw the player as one who would easily break into the first team but the Blues have since then made several acquisitions to their squad and it does not look like the player will ever get the opportunity to feature. If a permanent offer is turned down, Monaco could consider submitting a loan bid, with Chelsea likely to accept if he is guaranteed game time but it does not look like Arsenal will want to launch a loan bid but will prefer a permanent move for the player.

The Gunners also launched an £8million bid last summer, and could come in again with the player himself pushing for a transfer move.
