Chelsea Transfer News: Deal Confirmed, Brazilian Ace Keen For Move, Striker’s Barca Exit

Ramires

According to reports on the official website of Chelsea, Brazil born midfielder Ramirez has signed a new long-term contract to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2019.

Ramires joined Chelsea from Benfica in the summer of 2010 and has remained a major part of their successes since then. The 28-year-old Brazilian has earned 241 caps for Chelsea.

He granted an interview and expressed his delight with the new deal.

“I am very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea. My family and I are very happy here in London.

“In the past five years the club has lifted every major trophy. I hope to be an important part of many more successes in the next four years.”

Despite the current crises bedeviling Chelsea, the player has committed his future to the club.

Alex Teixeira

Brazil and Shaktar Donetsk attacking midfielder Alex Teixeira has revealed that the Premier defending Champions are interested in his services.

The versatile attacking midfielder has already scored, on the average, more than a goal per game in the Ukrainian league hinted that he could move to Chelsea.

“I’m glad to hear a club as big as Chelsea is interested in me,” he told GloboEsporte.com.

“It would be important to play a tournament such as the Premier League, and better yet if it came in January. I’m welcoming a new challenge.”

It is left to be seen if Chelsea will sign him. With current deep in form that the attacking midfielders are experiencing, Mourinho might add him to his ranks in January.

Diego Costa

This sound almost impossible though, but in the transfer market, surprises are inevitable.

Spanish outlet Don Balon claims the manager of Barcelona is in the want of a forward and Costa fits perfectly into his ideology for an attacker.

As per the report, the agent of Costa, Jorge Mendes is looking for an escape root for Costa due to his torrid start of the season. Costa has failed to replicate his form of last season thus far.
