Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is heading back to Stamford Bridge after an unsuccessful loan stint at AFC Bournemouth, reports ESPN.

The 23-year old failed to make any appearance in Premier League this season and made just two starts for the Cherries in Capital One Cup before suffering an injury in October. The Ghana international joined the Cherries on a season-long loan, but the Blues are set to call back their player due to his lack of playing time.

The winger had a similar experience during his loan spell with Everton last season. According to the report, many Premier League and Bundesliga teams are interested in the services of the player.
