Fantastic News – Arsenal Superstar Wins National Team Player of the Year Award

Arsenal will face Stoke City on Sunday for their upcoming Premier League fixture, and their players are in fine-form. Their midfield maestro, Mesut Ozil, won himself the German national team player of the year award. This is the fourth time Arsenal’s midfielder has won this title.

The 27 year old won by 51,000 votes (45.9%) from Germany supporters, with Thomas Muller being second place and third place went to Jonas Hector. Ozil made a total of six assists, which is the most by any German player in a single calendar year. He covered 92.17km in the eight appearances he made for his national team last year.

Ozil currently has 16 assists in the 20 games he has played so far in the Premier League.

He will make an International appearance again in March for Joachim Löw’s side against England in Berlin. Germany has been drawn with Northern Ireland, Poland and Ukraine as Group C, for the upcoming Euro 2016 in the summers.
