German Club CONFIRMS They May Be Forced To Sell World Winner – To Arsenal?

Arsenal appear to have receive an astounding boost and a fabulous hint concerning their pursuit of Schalke’s attacking midfielder Julian Draxler, after manager Andre Breitenreiter confirmed that a huge offer may tempt the Bundesliga club into selling their prized asset.

Breitenreiter has admitted his fear of receiving a mega bid from Arsenal for Draxler as the offer may railroad the German outfit into selling the Germany international star.

Draxler has been a subject of long-term interest for Arsenal, with the Gunners having been close to signing him in previous seasons. Arsene Wenger decided to revive his interest in the 21-year old earlier this summer before Juventus came to the forefront with a better offer.

Earlier last week, reports even had it that Draxler was closing in on a move to the Serie A champions but negotiations stalled as a sequel of Juventus’ inability to agree a fee with Schalke.

Now a precious opportunity has been provided to Arsenal to go all in for Draxler and bring him to the Emirates, should they make that huge offer.

The Schalke tactician told German newspaper via Metro that although he wants to keep the player but if the club receives a mammoth offer for Draxler’s services, he would not be able to block him from switching to the side that makes that bid.

“I want to keep him 100% but I do not know what will happen if we receive a brutal offer.”

Many have been tipping Arsenal to build on their recent victory over Chelsea in the Community Shield and genuinely challenge for the Premier League trophy next term and possibly, the Champions League.
