GREAT NEWS – Agent CONFIRMS PSG Target Could Join Chelsea This Summer

Alex Telles’ agent said several clubs have showed their interest in the Galatasaray left-back amid speculation linking him to Chelsea and host of other clubs. Telles, 22, has been widely linked with Chelsea, who are in the market for a new left-back after Felipe Luis returned to Atletico Madrid, while PSG and Inter also have interest in the player. The player’s agent, Fernando, told Eurosport Turkey that there has been serious interest in the Brazilian.

Chelsea are said to be closing on a deal to sign the Brazilian from Galatasaray, after reaching an impasse with Augsburg for Abdul Rahman Baba.

Telles agent said: “There are clubs that are making offers, although none have been official.” He said, “He could play for Chelsea and PSG without using a foreign player space due to having an Italian passport, but he is happy at Galatasaray.”

Turkish newspaper Sabah has reported that the Turkish Champions are seeking around 10million euros for the young defender.

Chelsea had hoped to tie up a deal for Augsburg left-back Rahman but the Daily Mail has reported that Telles is seen as a cheaper option.

The flying Brazilian is rated as one of the best in the world in his position. Telles is a young aggressive full-back who can operate as a defensive winger as well. Although, Baba is a better prospect, it makes sense for Jose Mourinho and Chelsea to move on instead of letting the deal for Baba drag on till the end of the transfer window.
