Jamie Vardy Leaving Leicester City in January, Chelsea to Win the Transfer Race and Beat Man Utd & Liverpool
In another transfer development, Chelsea have seen their odds to sign Leicester City ace Jamie Vardy slashed even further.
The 28-year old, who has attracted interests of the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool, seems destined to move to Chelsea after odds of him moving to the Blues slashed from 6/1 to 4/1 by Ladbrokes.
This development has been complemented by the increasing speculation linking the Foxes’ with a move for QPR striker Charlie Austin.
The Foxes’ odds of signing the QPR star have also slashed from 5/1 to 7/2. Leicester tried to sign the striker in the summer too, but their advances were rejected by the London club.
Austin, who scored 18 Premier League goals for the Rangers last season, is in the last year of his contract with QPR and the club risks losing him for free in the summer. The 26-year old will be available for a knock-down price in January, and this could prove to be a shrewd business for the Foxes.
Alex Donohue of famous betting firm Ladbrokes said: ‘The latest market movements suggest it could be one striker in, one striker out at Leicester this January.’
