Jorge Mendes speaks on shocking Man Utd deals: This superstar trio could arrive this summer

Highly-rated football agent Jorge Mendes is at it again. The super-agent is involved in a deal that could see Benicia’s young midfielder move to Manchester United for a fee worth £46 million. It is believed that Jorge Mendes has struck a deal with Benfica’s president and Manchester United’s Ed Woodward.

Question over the consultation with supposed incoming boss remains uncertain. Manchester United have struggled for transfers in recent times especially when Ed Woodward has been involved.  Although Woodward has struck a few impressive deals,  none have been instrumental to helping the Red Devils challenge at the highest level.

Jorge Mendes regards the 18–year old midfielder his next big transfer deal. The youngster is physically strong and can play numerous positions in midfield namely defensive midfielder, or an attacking midfield role. His versatility attribute is crucial in the modern game as players have to switch between attack and defense.

Jorge Mendes is also looking to bring in fellow countryman Jose Mourinho who has reportedly agreed a deal in principle with the Red Devils.  The Portuguese manager saw his second spell at Stamford Bridge end rather unsuccessfully in his third year where everything went pear-shaped . However, Mourinho is still regarded as one of the best mangers in the business.  Jorge Mendes will be looking to twirl his magic wand and make a deal materialise.

Another player Mendes is looking to add to United’s ranks is 22 year old Andre Gomez. The midfielder has been a stand out performer in a rather poor performing campaign from Valencia bagging 2 goals in 38 appearances. However, Manchester  United are not the only club  after Gomez . The Red Devils will be hoping they can fend off interest from Italian power-house Juventus for his signature.
Manchester United are looking to act swiftly in the transfer window as they chase this trio down. Jorge Mendes, agent of all the above targets will have a huge role to play.
