Jose Mourinho Speak On Pedro To Chelsea Rumours, Pedro To Become A Blue?

Jose Mourinho says Chelsea are trying to make one more signing this summer, but indicated that they are not in for Barcelona forward Pedro. The Portuguese made it clear that he feels his squad is almost complete and will only try to sign a defender before the transfer window closes.

Sources had it that the Blues have had a bid for Everton defender John Stones rejected, but Mourinho is said to be ready to go back with an improved bid. Mourinho said, “I am looking for a defender to finish this balance in our squad and after that we are ready to answer anything that can happen to our players”, he told Sky Sports News

Spanish Newspaper claimed that Pedro had talks with Mourinho, but Pedro himself has now denied that no meeting took place between them, but he admitted that one aspect of the rumour is true, saying “there are offers on the table”.

Jose Mourinho also said he can only sign Barcelona’s Pedro if he loses one of his attacker before the transfer window closes.

Pedro has also been linked with a move to Manchester United, with reports also claiming that the Red Devils are set to make a formal bid for the player later this week.
