We are almost nearing the end of the transfer window and Liverpool’s search for a forward is still on. Latest reports have suggested that the Reds are currently leading the race to sign Juventus striker Alvaro Morata.
According to Italian source Calciomercato, at the moment, three clubs are interested in signing the 23-year old. Chelsea and Tottenham are thought to be other clubs interested in the former Real Madrid striker, but the Reds are said to be the favourites to sign him.
The Spanish striker hasn’t been able to match his form of last season has fallen behind Paulo Dybala in the pecking order at the Turin club. He has managed only nine league starts this season and has scored just three league goals.
However, the report also claims that the Serie A club are reluctant to let go of their striker and Liverpool have a real fight on their hands if they want to complete this transfer in the next couple of days.
