Liverpool Would Be Right Step For Jurgen Klopp – Claims German Legend

German legendary goalkeeper and former Bayern Munich shot-stopper Oliver Khan has lent his voice to the belief that Jurgen Klopp will succeed at Liverpool if he is appointed as the boss, as per the Daily Star.

Since the impromptu sack of Brendan Rodgers on Sunday, Jurgen Klopp has been continually linked with the managerial job at Anfield – although, other managers are also linked with the Kop, Klopp remains the frontrunner for the job.

Brendan Rodgers had been at the helm of affairs at Liverpool since 2012 but the club has continued to struggle for any title bar his second season which Liverpool ended the Premier League as runner-up. This season, he has continued this story is no different.

When face with the media about a potential move for Klopp, Khan said:

“I can definitely see it happening and there’s absolutely no reservations at all in terms of his expertise.

“England would be the right next step for Klopp, also in terms of his personal development.

“Only the language may be a barrier. It’s not that I think he would have a problem conversing in English, but when it comes down to motivating the team and his team talks – that’s a small thing that may not translate so well.

“Jurgen’s always been really good at motivating his players and that is what he would have to prove at Liverpool.”

The Reds are tasty for some silverware and it seems Klopp will be the man to lead them to the glory. The former  Borrussia Dortmund man won two Bundesliga titles with the German outfit and led them to the Champions League final.
