After a turbulent start to life in England, British record signing, Manchester United’s Angel Di Maria, may well be on his way out of the club.
The 27 year-old Argentine winger suffered a difficult 2014/2015 season, which saw him score a paltry 3 goals and register only 10 assists in as many as 27 matches for the Manchester club. At the moment, the player appears far from settled at United, and may have even grown frustrated with the recent turn of events and his inability
to live up to expectations.
United, were even looking to offload him as part of a swap-deal to bring and PSG and Uruguay striker Edinson Cavani to the Old Trafford. However, PSG appear unwilling to lose Cavani, while Di Maria remains on their transfer wish-list.
Speculations are rife over the player’s next destination- should he decide to leave, with French giants PSG, whose coach has recently confessed to be keen to land the player, allegedly preparing a big-money bid for him. The Guardian correspondent, Jamie Jackson, in affirmation of this development, stated thus recently: “It would be a surprise if Angel Di Maria remains at Manchester United now. PSG seem to be the destination.”
