Marco Amelia Celebrates Chelsea Contract

Chelsea who have been suffering terribly in the English Premiership and who currently lie on the 16th position on the table seems to have found a solution to their nagging defensive errors which have constantly undone manager Mourinho’s plans and tactics.

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho seems to have discovered that all of Chelsea’s problems at the moment lie at the back and not really with the defence but with the goalkeeper and since his number one goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has been out of action due to an injury and will not be coming back soon, his second goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has not been so fantastic in front of goal and the only other options he has lies in youngster Jamal Blackman who is still a reserves goalkeeper, Mourinho has done the sensible thing and signed a goalkeeper from the only available market at the moment – The Free transfer shop.

Mourinho turned his attention on former AC Milan goalkeeper Marco Amelia since the blues started suffering in the premiership and conceding silly goals from silly schoolboy errors by the goalkeeper Begovic. The goalkeeper seemed to be more out of sorts in their last Premiership encounter against Southampton at the Stamford Bridge and the Blues had to go down 3-1 in front of their home fans to a side that is considerably lesser than them in stature, quality and every other thing one could count.

Marco Amelia was approached by Chelsea and the 33-year-old who was looking for a club and in the free agent market decided to jump on the opportunity of first team football again as he was spotted behind Chelsea bench in their home loss against Southampton and the player’s agent, Federico Pastorello posted a picture on Instagram which he tagged Dinner with marco amelia to celebrate the contract with chelsea.
