Jose Mourinho is all set to replace Louis Van Gaal at Man Utd in the summer.
Various media outlets have claimed that the Portuguese manager has already agreed to a deal to take charge at Old Trafford and now recent comments from Bendy Moratti, sister of former Inter president Massimo Moratti have further fuelled the speculation.
In an interview on Saturday, Bendy let slip that Mourinho is going to Manchester in summer. Mourinho, who has previously managed Inter Milan, was present at San Siro to watch Inter take on Sampdoria on Saturday.
In a video interview with Calcio Mercato, Bendy said: “It was pleasant. He’s still fantastic. He’s been missed on a human level. Now he’s happy — he’s going to Manchester and he’s well.”
Bendy’s family owns a major stake in the Serie A club. When former President Massimo was asked the same question, he was not so forthcoming: “I’m not sure. I don’t know if he wants to say”.
Mourinho won Premier League title with Chelsea last season, but he was sacked in November following a disappointing run of results in the first half of the season. Meanwhile, United are currently struggling under Van Gaal and a large number of fans want the Dutchman gone from the club in summer.
