Memphis Depay To Be Ousted From Manchester United First Team? Giggs Unhappy With Dutchman

Manchester United legend and assistant manager Ryan Giggs has reportedly spoken the youngster Memphis Depay about his off-field lifestyle after the player failed to turn-up at the Emirates.

Depay has had an underwhelming start to the season for Manchester United in the Premier League. It is understood the player failed to tracked back in the lost to Arsenal and he was withdrawn from the game at half-time because of his failings.

It was revealed that after United defeat to Arsenal, the player went out partying without any ill-feeling or remorse for the loss. The £25 million player’s lifestyle has been a source of worry as some have attributed it to his inconsistency on the pitch.

No doubt, the 21-year-old is a world class player in the making, but he has been advised to go slow on his social life while he adapts to the rigours of the Premier League. However, he’s scored once in the Premier League for United this term with everyone at Old Trafford demanding more from him as they believe his is playing below his capability.

Depay, arrived United as a marquee signing from PSV Einhoven. It is understood and believed that Giggs would like the winger to allow his performance speak for him rather than having a perceived over-bloated profile.

An insider told Sunday People Sport:

“Memphis is photographed out and about more than other players and that’s not gone unnoticed.

“He’s been told to keep his head down a bit while his football catches up with the rest of his profile.”
