New Chelsea Manager Identified First Signing – Club Set to Sign This Winger for £25m

Chelsea have reportedly agreed a deal with Italy national manager Antonio Conte according to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian manager will replace Guus Hiddink in summer and has already started drawing up his list of transfer targets. This list, as anyone can expect, will include mainly players from Serie A.

Another Italian publication La Republica claims that Conte is interested in bringing Lazio winger Antonio Candreva to Stamford Bridge.

The report claims that Conte has made the 28-year old his primary transfer target. The latest development will come as a setback to Liverpool, who are also in the pursuit of the Italian international.
The Reds were linked with a £25 million move for the player recently. Candreva is said to be looking for an exit from the club after falling out with Lazio head coach Stefano Pioli this season.

He has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 21 league appearances this season. The Italian international has played under Conte for the national team and will be playing in the Euro Cup this summer. Conte is supposed to have a good working relationship with the player and this will give an edge to Chelsea in the transfer pursuit for the 28-year-old.
