Petr Cech Set For Arsenal Medical, Will Earn £100,000-A-Week, On Three Years Contract

According to reports on social micro blogging network twitter, Petr Cech is set to undergo his medicals with Arsenal on Thursday or Friday. Yesterday, news broke that Arsenal has agreed terms with the Chelsea goalkeeper. Although his PR company came out and said the deal is not close to been done but we all know they are doing mere damage control.

The champions league winner who has the record for the highest number of clean sheets in the premier league is said to have said a three years contract with Arsenal and will be earning £100,000 a week over the three years contract.

Cech reportedly turned down the opportunity of going to PSG where he will would have earned more money to sign for Arsenal. Manchester United were also said to be interested in signing the player.

Cech’s signing is a massive statement of intent from the gunners. His signing is in my opinion as good as that of Dennis Bergkamp signing in 1996.
