Manchester United, Chelsea and Barcelona are actively scouting John Stones and established pundits around Europe are saying he has the quality to play with these top teams. The bar is already high after Chelsea’s continuous attempts to sign the young Englishman topped out at £38m last summer. According to reports, Manchester United are very close to grabbing his signature ahead of the chasing pack.

As much as Martinez would love to keep Stones at the side, a bidding war would greatly benefit the Toffees as it will bring in a great financial influx.
