Wenger KEEN ON Signing £160,000-A-Week La Liga Star, Deal VERY POSSIBLE

According to a report by French radio Station RMC, Wenger is keen on signing Real Madrid’s Karim Benzema for Arsenal this summer. According to the reports, Wenger wants the French striker at Arsenal but knows a deal is only possible if Real Madrid are able to get in a replacement.

Real Madrid on their part have already been linked to Manchester City’s Sergio Aguerro. Although we do not know if Manchester City will be able to stop Real Madrid from signing Aguerro ( we all know Madrid always end up getting what they want in the world of football ) but if the news that Real Madrid intend to move Ronaldo centrally is anything to go by, then Arsenal may actually have a chance of signing Benzema with or without Madrid getting Aguerro.

IF ( and a big IF ) moves centrally, it would mean Benzema will all of a sudden become a second choice striker, this is very unlikely to be acceptable to Benzema who is likely to seek a move out of the club. This could be Wenger’s thinking. Who knows.

Should Benzema join Arsenal, he will not only offer Arsenal the much needed fire power in attack, his established understanding with Ozil will mean the French man will score lot of goals with Ozil providing the assists, it will also be interesting to see what happens to Giroud if Benzema comes in.
