Which Club Could Sign Paul Pogba

Currently the toast of European Clubs, Paul Pogba is faced with the dilemma of which club to sign for this summer. For a young player, Pogba has the dilemma of having to choose from a plethora of European clubs interested in his services. The French sensation left Manchester United on a bosman in 2012 for Juventus. Pogba has helped Juventus to two league titles and a place in the Finals of the Champions League this just concluded season.

Already an International for his country, Pogba has never kept it a secret about his desire to turn out for Barcelona, I mean who wouldn’t? However, his dreams might have to be put on hold due to Barcelona’s transfer ban which will be lifted next year. Already the Catalan club have indicated that they will not be attempting to sign him till next year. While this news will not have endeared Barcelona fans to their management, other clubs will be buoyed by this, and there will be a rush for his signature in the next couple of weeks. Below are clubs who might eventually win the race to land Pogba:

Chelsea: There is a belief that the Frenchman will want to ply his trade at the London club should he want to return to England. Last year, Pogba was seen playing as Chelsea manager on a PC game and this could indicate a preference for Chelsea. Should Mourinho request for him, there is a probability that Pogba just might turn out for Chelsea. Now wouldn’t that be a treat for Chelsea fans? And money can’t be the issue as Roman Abramovich have tons of it.

Manchester United: Despite the acrimonious events surrounding his departure from Manchester United, Red Devils fan will give just about anything to see their former prodigy sign up for them. Its not always you goof when you release a player from your ranks, but Manchester United and legendary manager, Alex Ferguson sure goofed on Pogba. Leaving Manchester United for nothing, he might cost them a princely sum of €80 million.

Manchester City: Oh the noisy neighbours. They just might out of spite decide to sign Pogba and then proceed to hang a billboard welcoming Pogba to Manchester. But then again, nobody will want to sign Pogba to become a mere poster boy. With Yaya Toure on the decline, Manchester City will be hoping that Pogba will become their midfield generalissimo.

Real Madrid: Barcelona’s loss might just turn out to be their arch rivals gain. The madrid club who boast of superstars already will be looking to add to their team of galaticos and Pogba certainly fits the bill.

PSG: The list of course would be incomplete without a mention of the oil rich French club. Reports state that they had a bid accepted but failed to agree on personal terms with Pogba. Maybe this time they will be able to wrap the deal up.
