2nd January Signing for United – Red Devils to Finalize Deal for 6 ft 1 in Powerful Defender within Hours

Man Utd are inches away from finalizing a move for Dynamo Kiev centre-back Aleksandar Dragovic, according to Italian source Sport Mediaset. That means Louis Van Gaal will close second January signing after closing in deal for 16-year-old sensation, Luca Ercolani, as we reported today.

The report claims that the Red Devils are hours away from announcing a €21 million (£15.8m) deal for the Austrian centre-back. Leicester City previously tried to sign the player but their £12m plus bid was rejected by the Ukrainian club.

The 24-year old joined Dynamo Kiev in a 9 million Euros deal from Basel in 2013. He signed a five-year contract with the Ukrainian club.

He is known as a tough tackling centre-back and made his national debut at the age of 19.

He has since then earned 38 caps for his national team. He has also won league titles with Basel and Dynamo Kiev.
