Arsenal to steal Another Barcelona’s Wonder Kid, This Time Super Striker

Arsenal are set on signing Barcelona’s talented young striker, Abel Ruiz and reports suggest Barcelona wouldn’t be too welcoming about the approach. Abel Ruiz, is currently one of the top rated strikers at Barcelona’s youth academy. The 16-year-old joined Barcelona from Valencia and has instantly cast an impression.

According to Sunday People, Arsene Wenger is aiming to steal the young talent from Barcelona and lure him to the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Wenger is known to sign players from Barcelona’s youth academy and train them into world-class footballers. In recent years, Arsenal has signed, Cesc Fabregas, Fran Merida, Jon Toral and their current defender, Hector Bellerin, all from Barcelona.

Ironically, Barcelona has managed to lure Arsenal’s first team members to Camp Nou. Cesc Fabregas, Alex Song, Thierry Henry and Alexander Hleb, all left Arsenal for a chance to play for the Catalans.

Due to this the equation between the two clubs has always been tense. If Arsenal does manage to sign Ruiz, it will be their most recent snatch from Barcelona’s academy, after Hector Bellerin.

There is no doubt, Arsenal provides the most exciting career path for its youth with Arsene Wenger always open to giving his youngsters first team opportunities.
According to news, Chelsea are also scouting Abel Ruiz.
