Ed Woodward has these top three targets prepared for Jose Mourinho
Who will Manchester United buy at the end of the season? That is a question on most football fans minds at the moment and only Ed Woodward and the Manchester United board really know the answer.
It is thought that Woodward wants to sign at least one of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Neymar. There are other targets and a few youngsters are expected to join but one of these players will be targeted as the marquee transfer. The Sun believe that Woodward is pretty adamant that he will get one of those 3 to play in a Manchester United kit next season.
Zlatan would be a free transfer, but cost a pretty-penny with his huge wage demands; some have mentioned up to 600,000 pounds per week. All England fans have seen what the Swede can do to defenses but he isn’t getting any younger.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in fine form for Dortmund this season, seemingly scoring for fun in the Bundesliga but he would certainly cost a lot of money. He wouldn’t demand as high wages but the transfer fee would probably making him the most expensive African player of all time.
Neymar would be the hardest to sign because of the astronomical fee that would be involved. If he signed, it would certainly break the world record fee paid by Real for Gareth Bale and his wages would be very costly
Of the other transfer targets that Woodward has, Renato Sanches of Benfica looks to be edging closer to confirming a deal from Benfica. Woodward knows that Jose Mourinho is a big fan of Sanches and the deal to bring Jose Mourinho is thought to be almost confirmed. Who do you think United should bring in?
