Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been strongly linked with moves to Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid in recent past. He also recently claimed that it would be hard for him to turn down a move to PSG.
The 25-year old has struggled with his form this season and the club fans seemed to have lost faith in the Belgian international. However, despite his poor form, Hazard is one of the most talented players at present and losing him would be a huge setback for any club.
That’s why Blues manager Guus Hiddink’s latest comments are nothing short of spectacular news for the club fans. The Dutchman claims that Hazard is perfectly happy at the West London club and has no intention of leaving the club anytime soon.
Hiddink said in his press conference: “I let them rest for one or two days after Tuesday but before that I had a short conversation with Hazard about the situation but he is very keen to extend his contract here, and his family are happy.
“He has not said ‘I want to go’ but he has to step up as well. We will encourage him and talk to him about performance, but then it is up to him. The whole world is focusing on him.”
