Hiddink to Sign 8 Goals and 7 Assists in 15 Games Senegalese Striker for £5m This Week

Chelsea have been linked with a plethora of striker this season including the likes of Jackson Martinez, Jamie Vardy, Gonzalo Higuain, Breel Embolo, etc. Now you can add the name of Lokomotiv Moscow striker Baye Oumar Niasse to that list.

According to reports in Italy, the Blues have reignited their interest in the striker after failing to sign him in the last transfer window.

The London club were linked with a £4.4million move for the 25-year old last year.

CalcioMercato journalist Matteo Pedrosi has claimed that the Premier League champions have renewed their interest. He tweeted: “Chelsea are really interested in signing Lokomotiv Moscow striker Oumar Niasse.”

Russian side Lokomotiv signed the Senegalese international from Turkish club  Akhisar Belediyespor for a 5.5 million € transfer fee in 2014.

Since then, he has scored 12 league goals in 28 appearances for the Russian side. He can play as a winger or a striker and is known for his pace, dribbling, strength and high work rate
