How Arsenal Will Line UP Next Season – Benzema Starts, Giroud On The Bench

There has been rumours that Arsenal will sign Benzema, should this happen, the 27 year old France international striker is favorite to lead the attack for the gunners.

The Emirates giants possess a very solid defense organized and overseen by world class and highly experienced Petr Cech, there’s also a high level of creativity in the middle of the pack with Francis Coquelin giving  freedom to the duo of Mesut ozil  who is known for his flamboyant skills and the double-footed Santi Carzola who dribbles with reckless ease. Added to the numbers is the energetic Ramsey who thickens the midfield for Arsenal and brings to bear so much fluency and balanced needed against opponents. Arsenal have at least two or three good players in every positions of the field. Therefore, will be healthy competition for places in the first team which is good for the team.

The imminent coming of Benzema to Arsenal is going to pose a selection problem to the longest serving EPL manager Arsene wenger. The proven France born international striker is expected to be walk into Arsenal’s first team relegating both Welbeck and Giroud to the Bench. Theo Walcott who is also being considered for the same position will have to slug it out on the wing with the sole goal scorer in their community shield match .

Like we saw on Sunday, the back four of Bellerin, Mertesacker, Koscielny and Monreal would retain their respective positions given their understanding as evidenced by their recent performances. They will have behind them Petr cech wearing the gloves and manning the goal post.

The hard tackling Francis coquelin is expected to be given the nod over the aging Mikel Arteta and Mathieu Flamini in the defensive midfield position. Santi Cazorla and the great visionary passer of the ball Mesut Ozil are expected to provide the creativity needed to outshine their opponents.

We are expecting to see Aaron Ramsey and Alex Chamberlain fight for the right wing position. With the Chamberlain’s goal on Sunday, the manager may have a good problem on that front and whoever is chosen will need to prove a point on a consistent basis. Alexis Sanchez who remains the fan’s favorite will retain his position on the left wing to cause problems for his opponents.

There are a few players that might not even make the bench with the likes Jack Wishere and Danny Welbeck still out injured.
