Matteo Darmian Arrives Carrington, Set For Pre-season With United

It has been confirmed that Matteo Darmian is at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground and undergoing his medicals with reports from Craig Norwood.

The 25-year old is set to become a United player following a very dramatic week of activities from the English giants which had seen him not being linked heavily with a possible move to Old Trafford.

The right-back player was seen leaving Italy to complete his transfer to Manchester United on Friday, also the player has confirmed that he is set to join the Red Devils when questioned by Di Marzio.

Meanwhile, with the revelations of Di Marzio then its believed that once the Italian completes his medicals, Darmian will put pen to paper to sign his contract with Manchester United and the officials will then confirm the transfer to be a Red Devil.

Analysts showed that Darmian made six interceptions against Parma in what was arguably his best performance of the 2014/15 season. Statistics shows that he has won 67 tackles in the Serie A campaign. Matteo Darmian created 39 chances during the 2014/15 Serie A campaign. However his best performance arguably came against Parma during the team’s 1-0 win, where he scored the winner, back in October.
During the game, Darmian was excellent at the defense, the Italian made six interceptions and won four of his seven tackles.
