Red Devils to Sign Attacking Midfielder for £45m, Medical SCHEDULED, Van Gaal Will Spend Insane Amount this Winter to Save his Job

Manchester United are reported to be lining up a bid for Lazio star Felipe Anderson, Italian publication Forza has reported. The 22 year old Brazilian international has made waves since signing for Lazio in 2013 and it appears that he may be ready to move on to a bigger and better challenge. Latest reports are even saying the club scheduled medical for the player which should take place during first week of January.

20-time English champions Manchester United are in a shambolic state right now and the addition of some talented firepower is seen as a real necessity. The Red Devils are winless in over one month of football and their run of four straight losses in the Premier League was only brought to an end by a goalless draw against defending champions Chelsea at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils have been massively poor in front of goal this season and with Juan Mata their top scorer for the season with just five goals, the addition of Felipe Anderson is very much needed.

Lazio superstar Anderson has been in good form this season after hitting the back of the net five times while also creating another three goals over 25 appearances. The former Santos star has created a very good name for himself in Serie A and is not something of a Lazio fan favourite after making almost 80 appearances for them, scoring 17 goals in the process.

The last season was his most successful till date as he scored 11 goals and notched up 10 assists over the course of the entire season. Presently rated at 20 million pounds, a bid of around 22 million pounds or more could be enough to get his present employers to sell him and United may very well be looking to beat off any competition for him by making a swoop for their man once the January transfer window opens up.
